2011 Winners

Walcha based artist Julia Griffin was invited to judge the 48th Currabubula Red Cross Art Show and Sale. Julia was kind enough to share her judging notes - "I looked first for technical skill in the draughtmanship and rendering of paint. I wanted to see visual interest and nuance in the composition and surface, a controlled palette and in particular I was drawn to a skillful play of light on the subject. Some or all of these elements were evident in the winning entries.
