The Merawah Poll Hereford stud is one of Australia's premier Poll Hereford seedstock producers. Founded in 1936 by former Australian Poll Hereford Society President J.H.Doyle, and carried on by Ken and Judy Mackay and now by Andrew and Carolyn Mackay, the Merawah herd has been at the forefront of Poll Hereford breeding in this country since its inception. Literally thousands of bulls and females have left Merawah to work in the stud and commercial arena with many of the country’s top herds relying on Merawah bloodlines for genetic improvement.
